Editorial A new schedule will apply from June 1st, as Chellcy Reitsma joins us again all the way from Chicago, USA. The core courses taught by Chellcy will be in the Classical Egyptian style, however there are other classes on the menu, namely a Raqs Assaya (cane dance) class and a samba fusion workshop - mixing traditional bellydance moves with sizzling samba moves. There will also be an open class - highly recommended for those who want to polish up their technique, achieve gracefulness and fluidity in their dance. In addition, there are a variety of exciting workshops to choose from: folkloric egyptian (hagalla, melaya lef), spanish fusion (fan, skirt), and drum solo improvisation to name a few. More details on the workshops in due course.
As many of you might be aware, Chellcy is an exceptional teacher and performer of Middle Eastern dance, with over 19 years of classical dance training. She has studied Raqs Sharqi with many teachers including world renowned dancers such as Aida Noor, Yasmina Ramzy, Suhaila and Jamila Salimpour, Shoshanna, Eva Cernik, Dahlena, Lubna Emam, Khaled Mahmoud, Tito, Mahmoud Reda and many more. Her repertoire ranges from classical egyptian, folkloric, spanish fusion and samba fusion. She is also versatile in the use of many props including zills, veil, double veil and isis wings. HOW TO BOOK
For more information on the courses or to book, please send us an email at bellydance.malta@gmail.com or call Jane or Joanne on 99487814 / 79203432. An application form will be emailed or posted to you, which must be returned completed together with the payment to the address indicated below prior to, or, handed in on the Registration Date.
Class sizes are restricted, therefore early booking is highly recommended. Bookings are confirmed only on receipt of payment and as such will be treated on a "first pay first served" basis. Any bookings that remain unpaid by Registration Date will be taken as unconfirmed and replaceable - thus availability will not be guaranteed.

1. Paid bookings are not refundable, and classes are not pro-rated and nontransferable. No exceptions.
2. Bellydance Malta, Jane Camilleri, Joanne Mallia, hereafter referred to as “the organisers”, and the sponsored teacher/s, do not assume any responsibility for any injury or loss during the classes or while on location where the classes are being held.
3. All dates, times and location may be subject to change.
4. The organisers reserve the right to cancel the courses if at any point in time they are deemed as not viable. Should such circumstances prevail, the organisers will refund the participants their paid fees, as follows:
a. In full, if the course has not yet commenced
b. Prorata equivalent, if the course is in progress. In this case, refunds will be excluding any amount paid by new students in respect to registration fees.
